That Man is You! is an interactive, multimedia men's
program focused upon the development of authentic
male leadership. Over the course of three years,
That Man is You! successively considers men in their
relationship to God, to their spouse and to their
children.The program content harmonizes current
social and medical science with the teachings of the
Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the
vision of man fully alive. It is particularly
indebted to the teachings of the Second Vatican
Council and Pope John Paul II. That Man is You! is
successful at attracting large numbers of men,
including younger men still actively parenting, and
then transforming their spiritual lives. Indeed,
independent research from a Faith Advisor to The
Gallup Poll reveals That Man is You! to be one of
the most life transforming programs ever studied.

What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of
the Christian faith. Typically run over eleven weeks, each
session looks at a different question that people can have
about faith and is designed to create conversation. It’s
just an open, informal and honest space to explore and
discuss life’s big questions together.

We all need to rediscover Catholicism. Central to
the beauty and richness of the faith is that it is
constantly in need of being rediscovered. Not
because it changes, because we change. Who we are
and the circumstances of our lives are constantly
evolving and so a truth that we passed over a year
ago may prove to be completely transformative today.
At Dynamic Catholic we are passionate about helping
people rediscover Catholicism. Every day we are
working hard to develop resources to help
individuals and parishes discover the timeless
truths of the Catholic faith and how they can be
lived out in our everyday lives. Today the work of
Dynamic Catholic reaches into the lives of millions
of people every year, helping them to grow
spiritually and transform their corner of the world
but it all started with a book. |

In his familiar, conversational style, Father Himes
invites the reader to consider ten basic truths of
Catholicism. Beginning with discussions of Trinity, Grace,
the Incarnation and Salvation, Himes moves into an
exploration of Church as the continuting presence of Jesus
Christ in the world today. After discussing what Baptism
and the baptismal commitment really involves, he focuses
on Eucharist, showing the importance of the sacrament for
personal growth and for the building of community. After
discussing the Sacraments of Matrimony and Holy Orders,
Himes explores the importance of the sacrament of
reconciliation in the Christian community, and concludes
with a discussion of the great gift to the church that we
know as tradition. |

Bishop Robert Barron is an author, speaker,
theologian, and founder of Word on Fire, a global media
ministry. Word on Fire reaches millions of people by
utilizing the tools of new media to draw people into or
back to the Catholic Faith. Word on Fire is evangelical; it proclaims Jesus Christ as the source of conversion and new life. Word on Fire is Catholic; it utilizes the tremendous resources of the Roman Catholic tradition—art, architecture, poetry, philosophy, theology, and the lives of the saints— in order to explain and interpret the event of Jesus Christ.
Word on Fire Catholic Ministries exists to draw people into the body of Christ, which is the Church, and thereby give them access to all the gifts that Jesus wants his people to enjoy. To be most effective in this mission, Word on Fire places an emphasis and urgency on the use of contemporary forms of media and innovative communication technologies
